a slow exhale

Tuesday- 6-7:30pm   A slow exhale is a drop-in self-care experience to ground, calm, build hope, resilience and share a few laughs! Pay what you wish at the event, no reservations needed. We meet at my studio. in 405 Wellness, 405 3rd St NE, map below for parking and entrance details.

Self-care isn’t just important now, it’s critical to wellness, mind and body. This new event is for you and for me… a weekly commitment on my part to show up and explore. In all I do, my mission is helping people pause… long enough to hear themselves again. When you slow, you begin experiencing the power of listening to yourself, not that busy brain chattering away but rather something higher, wiser, more loving within you. We all need to ground, to rest, to breathe and find our hope, our peace, our resilience.

I’m hoping “a slow exhale” might be your chance to give yourself a much deserved break and maybe have some fun while doing it.  All experiences (sound, breath, meditation, movement, creative expression) are designed to work for everyone who’s there- sit in a chair, lie on the floor. Any gentle suggested movements would be done your way and work seated in a chair. A 5 year old’s skill with a box of crayons qualifies for creativity night.

Agenda- arrive 6-6:15 as I know there are some of you who just can’t make it on time. If you’re that person, be there at 6. 😉
6:15- 6:45 or 7– I’ll share an experience of sound, meditation, breathwork, movement, or creativity.
7ish to 7:30, you can ask questions, share what you learned or experience or listen to others share.
Suggested donation is $20 but no one’s looking what you throw in the basket. Sometimes we have cash abundance and sometimes we don’t. No worries, just come. No reservations needed. No experience needed. Just drop in,

Parking is free. Park in lot beside the building, in the street, or in the lots across the street. Enter through the side door, ring the bell and I’ll come let you in. if you come late and I’m busy with the group, I can’t come answer the door… so arrive between 6 and 6:15. Thanks

A slow exhale is simply time to explore some of the tools that I use sound, breath, meditation, movement, creative expression as tools to steady and slow ourselves down. We give your busy brain something peaceful and soothing to engage with… then  we are able to make a bit of distance from our think, think, think habits. We let our attention drift down into our chest or our guts or our bones and listen to our higher self, our wiser self, that still small voice within.

So I’m not teaching workshop to give you a new skill I’m just creating space and guiding experiences that might help you slow down settle down and learn that turning within as a gift not something to fear getting still, even just for moments. We don’t have to figure out what to do next as much as learn to listen… get stiller and listen. Within each of us is our own unique and beautiful direction… where we find our wisdom, our truth, our hope.

I think sometimes we just need to take a break, maybe come up for air and “a slow exhale” is just intended to be that. It’s something new for me to try to offer an event every Tuesday night with no reservations no tickets. I am asking you to make a donation at the event if you are able to, but that donation is up to you, the amount is your choice.

I want to establish that there’s a place on Tuesday night at 6 PM where you can come and rest and steady and ground and hopefully build on the seeds of Hope and resilience that are within you waiting for your attention and encouragement. If this ounds interesting, plan to join me at 6 o’clock at my studio at 405 Wellness.
